John DriscollJohn Driscoll – President, Consumer Connections

John brings more than 20 years of experience to his senior role with School Family Media. As Vice President of Physician Sales for Web MD and as Vice President of Field Sales for Whittle Communications, John has built wide-ranging, effective sales teams that have called on a diverse selection of clients. With Whittle and with A+ America – a start-up fundraising company where he served as Vice President – John worked extensively in building mutually beneficial marketing programs focused on families with school-age children.

For the past six years, John has directed School Family Media's Marketing Solutions Group where he has led the growth and development of award winning programs such as School Family Nights® as well as the launch of Back2School. He has been instrumental in the development and creation of custom programs that help companies such as Procter & Gamble, American Express, Target, Disney, and Kellogg's connect with millions of moms and families with school-age children through print, online and unique event marketing opportunities.

John has been a featured speaker on the topic of marketing to moms through schools at conferences such as Kid Power and M2Moms (Marketing to Moms), and has been quoted in discussions on the topic in industry trade publications such as Ad Age, Marketing Sherpa, and Mediapost.

John is a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and lives in Medfield, MA with his wife and three children.


Janis Daly Janis Daly – Senior Director of Sponsorship Sales

Janis joined School Family Media in 2006 to continue efforts in building unique, integrated marketing solutions and through-school programs that connect America's blue-chip brands to involved and engaged moms. Beyond her own personal experience as a mother of two, she developed a keen understanding of the consumer “mom market” while leading national sales efforts for Radio Disney where she created mom-focused and kid-friendly on air and event marketing programs for seven years. In addition to her work with The Walt Disney Company, Janis has also worked closely with other blue-chip consumer companies including Coca-Cola USA and Bank of America.

A graduate of Wheaton College in Massachusetts, Janis lives in Norfolk, Massachusetts, with her husband, two sons and two dogs. The Dalys are members of the Parent Leadership Network at St. Sebastian's School, and Janis also chairs the Faculty Appreciation efforts. In her “spare” time, Janis enjoys being a hockey mom, soccer mom, football mom, lacrosse mom and baseball mom.


Tracy Roberts Tracy Roberts – Director of Sponsorship Sales

Tracy brings to School Family Media a special expertise in integrated media communications as a result of her ten years working for the New York City magazine, online, and custom publishing industry. She was most recently with Scholastic as the New York City based sales manager for Scholastic Parent & Child magazine. While there, she developed a passion for creating connections between her clients and their mom audience. She has led national sales efforts to develop programs that work through schools to reach parents, and she now brings her strength in understanding that market to School Family Media. Clients she has worked with can be found in all of the categories appealing to the consumer mom audience, such as Food and Beverage, Toys, Package Goods, Beauty, Health, Pharmaceuticals, Home, Travel, Financial, and Consumer Electronics.

Before becoming a marketing and sales professional, Tracy had a rewarding and creative career as a professional ballet dancer, and has traveled and performed in countless theatres across the country. Originally from Wise, VA, she now lives in Charleston, SC with her husband.


Sue Dunn Sue Dunn – Vice President, Marketing

Sue Dunn brings more than 20 years of marketing and advertising experience to her role at School Family Media. Previously, the Senior Creative Director at Monster, Sue has a proven track record in brand building, web site development and integrated marketing for both consumer and B2B brands. With a degree in Journalism, Sue started out as an advertising copywriter, and has spent the better part of her career helping a wide variety of blue chip brands position and sell their products and services. Her innovative creative work has been recognized in MIMC, Hatch, ADDY and Silver Microphone competitions, to name a few.

Since joining School Family Media in 2005, Sue has been instrumental in defining and building the company's brand messaging, positioning and visual identity and creating marketing programs and communications that speak to all SFM audiences: parent group leaders, parents, advertisers and consumer brand marketers. Sue also leads the creative execution and brand integration efforts for all of School Family Media's consumer-brand partnerships.

Sue is a graduate of Suffolk University and lives in Tucson, AZ with her partner, two kids and dog. When she's not thinking about marketing…well actually…she's always thinking about marketing.


Craig Bystrynski Craig Bystrynski – Vice President, Content and Editorial

Since joining School Family Media in 2002, Craig has overseen the broad growth of the company's content efforts, widening our audience and strengthening our connection with them. Craig and his team of editors and writers have earned a reputation for understanding the needs and challenges of involved parents and parent group leaders like no others. Through an array of media, including print, online, e-newsletters, and custom publishing, they deliver the kind of informative, engaging content with a hands-on focus for which School Family Media has become known.

Craig has more than 20 years of experience as an editor and publisher. He has been lead editor on the launch of eight magazine titles and websites. He has been a featured speaker on magazine launches at the Folio: publishing conference and has been quoted in a variety of media outlets on school and parent-teacher topics. Craig is a graduate of Colby College and lives in Natick, MA.


Kerri Beauchesne Kerri Beauchesne – Marketing Services Manager

Kerri joined School Family Media in 2006 to manage the Marketing Solutions Group's marketing services team. In her role, Kerri manages the creative development, execution and launch of SFM-MSG's consumer brand marketing programs and campaigns, while also playing an integral role in managing the day-to-day communication with partners. Her background in consumer marketing, account management and creative development, combined with her strong project management expertise, ensures a seamless execution of multiple high level programs for SFM-MSG's roster of partners.

Kerri graduated in 2002 from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in English. After working as both a marketing manager and copywriter for a local independent retailer, Kerri later went on to work at Arnold Worldwide in account management, and as a senior account strategist at a leading employment branding agency, where she earned various industry awards and accolades for creative development and strategy. She currently lives in North Attleboro, MA with her husband, two boxers and a cat, and can often be found blogging, baking, painting and “attempting” to garden.
